Like his fellow partners, Dr. Randy Woodward’s decision to pusue Chiropractic medicine was based on a deep personal experience. As a member of the wrestling team in his sophmore year of high school, he suffered a severe injury to his neck. Following two years of medical and physical therapy, his condition spiraled downward, resulting in a 30% loss of strength in his left arm. As his situation became desperate, and through the urging of a friend, he turned to chiropractic medicine. Through regular treatments, his strength was restored and he went on to wrestle for BYU in Provo, leading him to realize that helping others heal was what he wanted to do, professionally.
Following his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science degree from BYU, he went on to complete his Doctorate of Chripractic at Palmer Chiropractic College in Iowa. As a firm believer that structure determines function, Dr. Woodward understand and strives to teach his patients that, by changing posture, they can improve their level of health, freeing them from dependence on any form of frequent treatment.
Having become proficient in advanced spinal rehabilitation, he’s spent the last several years training in Chriopractic Biophysics (CBP ©) and Pettibon™ techniques. He’s received his advanced certification from the San Diego Spine Institute, specializing in soft tissue injuries resulting from auto accidents, and he has completed a year-long advanced certification as a Certified Chiropractic Extremities Physician (CCEP).
